In 1801, Joseph Foveaux sold 980 acres of land, which was actually a land grant, to John Macarthur.
Macarthur purchased more lands in the region until he had 2000 acres in Bella Vista.
Later on, John and his wife began sheep farming. John went overseas so Elizabeth managed the agricultural business of the family. She called the farm, my Seven Hills Farm.
In mid-1990’s the farm become a small-scale agriculture area. As the industry started to grow, residential areas also developed.
